Alexa Ray Joel, a singer, songwriter and musician born in America. She is the daughter of songwriter Billy Joel and model Christie Brinkley. Joel is a New York native who has adopted her parents' love of music and fashion. When she was 19 years old, she founded a rock band and staged her first live performance at Maxwell's located in Hoboken New Jersey. She became an overnight sensation after just a few short years.
